OREANDA-NEWS. Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik (the main manufacturing facilities of PJSC EMAlliance, a member of the power plant concern OJSC Power Machines) has shipped hot and cold end heating elements for modernization of Regenerative Air Preheater RVP-68 for Boiler TPP-200-1 of Slavyanskaya TPP.

The Contract for the design, manufacture and supply was signed between PJSC EMAlliance and erection organization Donbassteploelectromontazh LLC in the end of 2012. EMAlliance contract obligations include design and supply of A shell upper part and hot and cold end heating elements of Regenerative Air Preheater RVP-68 for Boiler TPP-200-1 of Slavyanskaya TPP.

The equipment design has been developed by the specialists of Taganrog Engineering Division of PJSC EMAlliance, the supply is carried out by the main manufacturing facilities of PJSC EMAlliance - PJSC TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik.

Apart from the supplied equipment the range of the products shipped in July also includes upper radiation part and sealings of RVP-68.

The technological innovation at the equipment development was the implementation of tangential arrangement of heating element plates of Regenerative Air Preheater instead of radial arrangement. Due to this the heat exchange surface was expanded, effectiveness of heating elements cleaning was improved and air and flue gases resistance in RAPH was reduced. Thus, the new equipment of increased reliability will extend the Plant’s service life.
