OREANDA-NEWS. Eng., Sherif Ismail Mohamed has been appointed to head the oil ministry in Egypt's new government, under the premiership of fellow economist Hazem El-Beblawi.

 Sherif Ismail was the chairman of Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Co. (GANOPE).
