OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2013. The Government will stimulate exports of grain. It will quickly ease the internal market of grain. Ukraine has already sold abroad 300 000 tonnes of grain. This was announced today by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk during a working visit to Kharkiv region.

"The state will help to ease the internal market of grain through the Agrarian Fund and the State Food-Grain Corporation of Ukraine. However, one of the main methods of stabilizing domestic prices remains the export policy. So that to sold surplus grain to the 2013-2014 marketing year, the Government will encourage its export. Sales of grain abroad have increased by at least 1 million tones," Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.

The Minister also said that before harvesting the Government has made the most so that to open the way for domestic grain to world markets.

"Ukraine has already delivered abroad almost 300 thousand tonnes of grain for 12 days of the new marketing year. Overall this year's grain exports have become the largest in the history of independence. It is predicted that Ukraine exports about 24-26 million tonnes of grain," the minister said.
