OREANDA-NEWS. In recent times, the emergence of massive open online courses (MOOCs) has brought about significant changes to higher education which cannot be denied. In less than two years, MOOCs have already moved from free online video lectures to integrating multiple-choice questions and online discussion forums to hosting courses on a platform that allows students to review and grade each other.

‘Why MOOCs matter?’ is a significant question that will get addressed at Tata Interactive Learning Forum’s complimentary webinar scheduled on July 19 at 10.30am EDT. The webinar will discuss the impact of MOOCs on higher education and the need for robust pedagogical approaches for this emergent educational scenario.
