OREANDA-NEWS. Afro-Cuban dancers entertain Miami International Airport passengers with dance moves in the North Terminal as part of the Airport’s Musical Happenings at MIA program.

This dance group is among a list of performers reflective of the diverse cultural and musical South Florida environment- from jazz quintets, Brazilian trios, and Junkanoo to Latin Big Bands. The Fine Arts & Cultural Affairs Program, funded through a Knight Foundation Arts Challenge grant, is designed to enrich the travelers’ airport experience and provide educational and entertainment encounters, helping to alleviate the stress of travel and showcasing the area’s enormous local talent and cultural resources.
