OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2013. Next meeting of the Committee on Economic Cooperation of Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission will be held in late September and early October this year. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this in Sochi (Russia) by the results of the meeting with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

"We agreed that the meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee on Economic Cooperation of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission, which is chaired by presidents of Russia and Ukraine, we will hold in late September early October, said Mykola Azarov. And by this time we will give orders to appropriate ministries and departments on all issues that we discussed today to prepare draft resolutions and maximum coordinate positions."

In general, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov positively estimate the meeting with Dmitry Medvedev, during which it was find a consensus on many issues.

"Our thoughts are the same: we should meet more often and in a friendly atmosphere to discuss any problems that arise, try to find mutually beneficial solutions. We moved almost on discussed all issues," emphasized Mykola Azarov.

He stressed that today issues of cooperation in the energy sector, including the injection and transit of Russian gas were discussed. The sides also discussed issue of cooperation in innovation, space areas in the field of aviation. Thus, it was agreed to resume serial production of AN-124, simplification of customs and border procedures in passenger trains and more.

According to the Head of Ukrainian Government, the parties discussed the controversial issues in the Ukrainian-Russian economic and trade relations.

He noted that the sides discussed preparations for the visit to Ukraine of President Vladimir Putin to participate in the activities of the celebration of the 1025th anniversary of the Christianization of Kievan Rus.

"I am pleased with the results of the meeting, it was useful and was extremely constructive exchange of views," Mykola Azarov emphasized.

He noted that the parties finally take the ability to find flexible solutions in sensitive issues and it should be developed.
