OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2013. Ukraine proposes the Russian Federation to establish an organization on innovation collaboration.

This was started by head of the State Agency for Science, Innovation and Informatization of Ukraine Volodymyr Semynozhenko by the results of the meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov with Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in Sochi.

"We have offered absolutely universal scheme that can work effectively: to create an organization on innovation collaboration that will provide the concluding of international treaties with Russia, and subsequently with Belarus and Kazakhstan. These countries are now showing interest in this organization," Volodymyr Semynozhenko said.

He said that the heads of governments have discussed the prospects of introducing innovative new mechanisms of cooperation between the two countries. The head of the State Agency for Science, Innovation and Informatization of Ukraine said that by now Ukraine and Russia with difficulties have implemented joint large-scale innovative projects because Russian legislation often not adapted to international standards. "Therefore, the establishment of this organization unifies the rules and contribute to the effective implementation of joint innovation projects," V.Semynozhenko said.
