OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2013. Tire products of the petrochemical complex of JSC TATNEFT are again among the winners of the contest "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan - 2013" in the category "Industrial and technology products".

Two sizes of the KAMA Euro tires: 129 195/55 R15 and KAMA EURO 205/55 R16, produced by JSC "Nizhnekamskshina", and three KAMA series N tires: KAMA NR 201 245/70 R19,5, KAMA NF 201 245/70 R19,5, KAMA NT 201 385/65 R22,5, produced by "Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory", were recognized the national contest winners.

The contest "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan" is held annually in the framework of the "100 Best Goods of Russia" Program. 234 enterprises of the Republic belonging to various industry branches participated in the contest in 2013.

JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" being a leader among the tire manufacturers in Russia and the CIS produce KAMA and KAMA EURO motor tires of more than 120 sizes. The factory's products are delivered for the assembly of motor vehicles manufactured by JSC "AvtoVAZ", JSC "UAZ" and OOO "Volkswagen Group Rus." The factory is the first supplier in the Russian market, which has homologated tires for foreign automakers: Volkswagen and Skoda. The 129 195/55 R15 KAMA EURO tires are delivered for the assembly of Volkswagen Polo Sedan cars, while 129 205/55 R16 KAMA EURO tires are used for the assembly of Skoda Octavia cars. The KAMA EURO tires tread pattern provides for high grip on wet roads and low noise run on the paved roads.

The products of "Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory" have become the winner of the "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan" contest for the second year running. In terms of durability and environmental friendliness the SSC tires meet the modern Russian and foreign standards and are highly competitive with similar global brands.

High durability and reliability are achieved through the use of steel cord in the carcass and the optimal design of the belt and the bead, thus increasing the load capacity of up to 8 percent. The SSC tires are adapted for additional retreading with a possibility of both cold and hot retreading of tires that extends the tire life up to half a million kilometers run. The use of the SSC KAMA brand tires ensures fuel saving in the amount of up to 10 percent.

Modern solid steel cord tires manufactured by the petrochemical complex of TATNEFT can be used in temperatures ranging from minus 40 to plus 50 degrees, at higher speeds and at high loads.

By the results of the contest "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan" JSC "Nizhnekamskshina" and "Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory" have been granted the right to use the contest logo in marking their products.
