OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2013. GT held the 2013 Conference for Science and Technology Achievement Commendation and the Start of Innovative Enterprises Piloting in Beijing.

The conference reviewed the science and technology work of GT in recent years, further emphasized the importance of science and technology innovation and advancement, and made comprehensive mobilization and arrangements for “fully carrying out innovative enterprises piloting work, speeding up the construction of innovation system, and prioritizing efforts on improving self-innovation ability”.

The conference commended 20 project teams of GT Science and Technology Award winners including the team for research and development of the docking devices applied in Shenzhou VI spaceship and Tiangong I space lab, and granted awards to 12 GT Science and Technology Youth Talent and 20 GT Technical Veterans including Yao Tongxin. 

Representatives of award winners from Beijing Machine Tool Research Institute and China Textile Academy had speeches to share their achievement and experience in such field.
