OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2013. On the farm fields of Razgulay Group harvesting campaign started in early July. The farms of Group’s South Branch (Krasnodar Territory) were first to begin harvesting of winter crops.

There have already harvested more than 88% of the area under wheat and barley. In the farms of the Central Branch (Belgorod, Kursk, Orel region) grain harvest will come to maturity July 8-15th and in Bashkortostan on July 25th.

This season the Group will harvest about 250 thousand hectares of arable land: 81,3 thousand hectares of winter and spring wheat, 55,7 thousand hectares of sugar beet, more than 15 thousand hectares of rice. Oilseeds occupied more than 32 thousand hectares, including soybeans - 15.6 thousand hectares, sunflower - 9 thousand hectares, flax - more than 8 thousand hectares.

In addition, in the fields of agricultural holdings’ farms it was seeded buckwheat, peas, triticale, corn, and a variety of annual and perennial grasses. In the framework of non-strategic assets selling, Razgulay Group sold "Chelno-Vershinyagroinvest" and "Don-Agro" agricultural enterprises, so during the spring sowing time the area under company’s control decreased by 90 thousand hectares.
