OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2013. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its meeting adopts technical regulations on safety of toys that have to meet European quality and safety standards.

This was started by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at the meeting of the Government.

"Unfortunately, poor quality toys cause injury and damage, poisoning by toxic substances and allergy in our children. But the law does not become an obstacle to unscrupulous traders. That is why this issue was taken under special control," Mykola Azarov said.

He is convinced that increasing security measures in the near future will deprive the Ukrainian market of poor quality toys.
