OREANDA-NEWS.  July 15, 2013. According to the results of the Republican contest "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan - 2013" the Bugulma Mechanical Plant of JSC TATNEFT (BMZ) was a diploma winner in the category "Industrial and technology products".

BMZ has been awarded the Ist degree diploma for manufacturing a settling tank of V=200m3 (1-3400-200-10-09G2S TU3615-151-00220302-2010). These bulk-capacity units for liquid and gas media are used in the process installations of refining, petrochemical, chemical, oil, gas and other industry branches.

Settling tanks are used for crude oil dewatering, separation of gas remaining in the oil emulsion in the process of oil and water treatment at the oil fields and refineries. They are also used for settling of the formation water and recovery of separated gas contained in the oil. These units are suitable for operation in the areas of temperate and boreal climate; they are earthquake-resistant and withstand external vibration force up to and including 8 points.

The contest "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan" is held annually in the framework of the "100 Best Goods of Russia" Program. 234 enterprises of the republic belonging to various industry branches participated in the contest in 2013.

V=200m3 settling tanks manufactured by the Bugulma mechanical plant as the contest prize winner have been nominated to participate in the federal stage of the "100 Best Goods of Russia" Program.
