OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2013. Moscow, Vienna, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Paris take the lead in the rating of the most popular destinations from the Boryspil international airport in the first half of 2013. The top 10 destinations from Boryspil also includes routes to Frankfurt, Istanbul, St. Petersburg, Antalya, Dubai.

In general, according to the results of 6 months of the year at Boryspil airport served 3 289 600 passengers. Temporary decrease of growth in passenger traffic through the main airport in the reporting period (14%) happened because of the decrease in traffic volumes due to the termination of Aerosvit against the background of the active dynamics of growth of passenger traffic last year before and during the Euro-2012.

Now, there is a significant increase in airport traffic volumes of Ukraine International Airlines, the work is held to attract new airlines. In particular, during the first half of 2013 new airline: Air Astana, Fly Meridiana, Fly Georgia, Airlines Kharkov have started to fly to the airport Boryspil.

Recall, Boryspil international airport has a program of motivation of airlines, which is aimed to encourage the opening of new routes, the development of long-haul flights and bringing low cost carriers. Currently, the program is on coordination in the Government.
