OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2013. Nikolay Drozdov has been appointed as the Director of the International Business Department of ROSATOM.

Nikolay Drozdov graduated with distinction from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics, specializing in the economic and social planning, in 1993. In the period from 1991 till 2006 he worked in the sector of regional investments and project management.

He started working in the nuclear industry in September 2006 as a project manager at Atomenergomash where he worked until February 2010. In 2010–2012 Mr. Drozdov had the post of Head of Power Sector for Russia and CIS in French company ALSTOM. Before joining ROSATOM he worked as an advisor to the Director General of Rusatom Overseas.

Nikolay Drozdov will be responsible for organizing and management of ROSATOM global expansion in the foreign markets, building up its infrastructure, and organization of ROSATOM local presence in key regions/countries, including coordination of operations of the local representations and offices network in the international markets.
