OREANDA-NEWS. Vale has been awarded a prize at the Gold Quill Awards, held at the end of June in New York City, USA, which is hosted every year by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Our company received an award in the Internal Communication category for the direct communication strategy we adopted to disclose the content for our Day to Reflect on Health and Safety in 2011 and 2012.

Day to Reflect on Health and Safety

The objective of this event is to encourage dialogue and reflection among our employees. During the last meeting, which took place in November 2012, we discussed how important it is for us to always be aware of the risks and consequences of our choices. Over 145,000 people across 27 different countries took part in the dialogues.
