OREANDA-NEWS. The Government of Belarus hopes to succeed in restraining inflation growth under 12% in 2013 and bring it further down to 9.3% in 2014.

The Economy Ministry's view on Belarus' inflation growth in 2013 is reflected in the materials of the official forecast of Belarus' socioeconomic development for 2014.

The official forecast for inflation growth in 2013 stands at 12%. Belarus posted a 6.6% rise in consumer prices in January-May 2013.

The Economy Ministry expects inflation growth to slow down to 5% in 2015 and down to 4.3% in 2016.

Industrial producers' prices are expected to grow 16.3% in 2013, 10.6% in 2014, 5.6% in 2015, 4.8% in 2016.
