OREANDA-NEWS. It is no accident that people has recently taken an interest in vehicles running on a gas fuel: transition to methane may bring an economic effect of tens and even hundreds of billion roubles, as it is a matter of environment and people’s health.

KAMAZ adheres to a position of promotion of a new product using a comprehensive approach. According to Ruslan Ziatdinov, Director of Sales of CNG Vehicles of ZAO FTC KAMAZ, this is collaboration of a sales-and-service block, a service of relations with bodies of state power, an R&D group and production units inside the company. OOO RariTEK has been a strategic partner promoting gas vehicles on KAMAZ chassis and an official distributor for several years. External contacts are focused on a well-coordinated work with Gazprom, Rosneft, regions, as well as with federal executive bodies. For instance, the company is currently drawing up proposals to continue realizing the above mentioned program - regions need government subsidies on an initial stage of product promotion to purchase not only buses, but also special equipment for municipal services and agriculture.

Production plans for the near future are to assemble 183 gas municipal vehicles for Krasnodar Krai; Leasing Company KAMAZ plans to ship more than one hundred buses for Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny.
