Bai-Tushum & Partners, Japan Center for Human Development Signed MoC
OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2013. Took place the official signing the Memorandum of Cooperation between Kyrgyz Republic-Japan Center for Human Development and Microfinance Bank “Bai-Tushum and Partners”. The Memorandum was signed from the Bank’s part by Deputy General Manager – Nurgul Torobaeva, and from the Kyrgyz Republic-Japan Center’s part by Co-Directors – Muneo Takasaka and Temir Djumakadyrov.
Within this Memorandum both parts intend to render educational, consulting and financial support to their beneficiaries – small to medium-sized enterprises of Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyz Republic-Japan Center over a period more than 10 years, using the experience of Japanese experts conducted Practical business courses (mini-MBA) for beginners and actual businessmen and by to the end of these courses they have to prepare real business plan for the implementation of its business ideas.
The Bank “Bai-Tushum and Partner” is one of the dynamic growing financial organizations with total assets in amount of more than 112 million USD and enters to the six largest banks of the Kyrgyz Republic serving about 30 thousand clients. The Bank provides flexible financial services to small to medium-sized enterprises including Start-Up credits for beginner entrepreneurs.
Related to this, the one of the key points of this cooperation is the participation of the Bank “BaiTushum and Partners” in assessment of business plans of mini-MBA courses audience, and in case of positive assessment of business plans, the Bank “Bai-Tushum and Partners” may provide to this audience credits for start and development of business. Thereby it is established mutually beneficial platform where entrepreneurs and financial institutions may implement their interests and ideas.
The other important aspect of this cooperation is the Bank “Bai-Tushum and Partners” on a voluntary basis informs and directs its beneficiaries and clients (SME) to mini-MBA courses of Kyrgyz Republic-Japan Center.
We believe that such cooperation reflects positively not only on development of these two organizations, but also influences favorably to improvement of business environment and economic activity in Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyz Republic-Japan Center conducts the wide range of business trainings and seminars. One of the principal courses of Japan Center is 3-month practical courses of Business Administration which is considered rendering of knowledge and skills using which allows catering in market conditions. Within corporate courses on improvement of management decisions, the consultant from Japan will research problems and tasks of separate companies. Moreover, Kyrgyz Republic-Japan Center conducts thematic seminars.
"Bai-Tushum and Partners" was founded in 2000 by the American international organization of development ACDI/VOCA. In November 13, 2012 “Bai-Tushum and Partners” became the first microfinance organization in the Central Asia obtained full banking license from the National Bank KR. For 12 years activity the organization became the one of the largest microfinance institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic with total assets of 100 million US dollars. Today, Microfinance Bank “Bai-Tushum and Partners” entered to six large banks of the Kyrgyz Republic.
