Belorusneft Will Explore Oil Deposits in Western Siberia
OREANDA-NEWS. Specialists of the backfill department of Belorusneft will embark on a new project in Western Siberia, BelTA learnt from the press service of the company. In Surgut the company will conduct servicing works, including backwall washdown, well exploration and swabbing. Belorusneft specialists will use new nitrogen, pumping and coiled tubing devices made by Belarusian company Fidmash. This equipment has already proved efficient at Belarusian oil deposits. The backfill department of Belorusneft maintains contacts with Volgogradneftegaz of the Russian Innovative Fuel and Energy Company. In 2012 Belarusian specialists performed over 30 well operations in Russia. In line with a new contract, a complex of a hydraulic fracturing machine and an acidizing machine has been shipped to Volgograd Oblast. Ten operations related to hydraulic fracturing of two oil deposits will be performed there. The industrial group Belorusneft was founded in 1966. It is part of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim. The company specializes in surveying, prospecting and development of oil fields, well drilling, oil and associated petroleum gas extraction.
