OREANDA-NEWS. KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT of Metinvest Group is familiar with the novel product. The Enterprise manufactured preproduction lot of pipes with dimensions of 1020х12.0 mm from steel of the 17Г1С-У grade with К52 strength class with internal and external anti-corrosion coatings.

KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT manufactured the preproduction lot in amount of 132 pipes (468 tones). The peculiarity of this lot is in that the internal anti-corrosion coating is made according to ТУ У 27.2-00191135-021:2010 “Steel SAW longitudinal pipes with diameter of 508-1422 mm with internal coating for oil and gas pipelines and waterlines” of “B”-execution with additional requirements to the thickness of coating not less then 400 microns. It's the first time the Plant applies the coating due to these technical requirements. Pipes serve to water hauling (including drink water).

To certificate the manufactured pipes in the national system of certification of UkrSEPRO the internal coating was applied and acceptance tests were performed with the auditor from SE “VNITI-TEST” at the beginning of June. KHARTSYZSK PIPE collects the Certificate of Authentication to requirements of ТУ У 27.2-00191135-021:2010 “Steel SAW longitudinal pipes with diameter of 508-1422 mm with internal coating for oil and gas pipelines and waterlines” in system of UkrSEPRO.

Technical control services of KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT mentioned the high quality of coating applying both according to technical parameters and appearance. As explained by specialists of the Plant, when the coating is of such thickness it's difficult to attain the excellent results for all criteria.

“Due to the collective of Pipe Welding Shop No. 4 carried out the great ground work, the project was made at the stated time and pipes are shipped to the Customer, - as Pavel Uzbek, Acting General Director of KHARTSYZSK PIPE mentioned. - There is no doubt that the high quality of production manufactured by KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT will be equal to Customer's expectations. It was sample order, but I'm sure it will be followed by large-scale projects”.
