OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2013. Shanghai Baoye Construction Group (SBC-MCC Group) and Beijing Central Research & Design Institute for Metallurgical Equipment of MCC (BRIME) signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Dalian Haichang Group, according to which all the parties will further intensify efforts in collaboration on real estate and the relevant industries.

The inking of this agreement symbolizes that the subsidiaries of MCC Group have established a long-term comprehensive strategic partnership with Dalian Haichang, marking a model of common sharing of resources and win-win cooperation between state-owned enterprises and private economy.

The attendees present at the signing ceremony included: President Guo Wenqing of MCC Group; Chairman Chen Ming of SBC-MCC Group; President Zhang Zhanbo of BRIME; and BOD Chairman Qu Naijie of Dalian Haichang Group.

Guo Wenqing pointed out that, MCC Group was mainly engaged in four core businesses, including engineering contracting, equipment manufacturing, resource exploitation and real estate development. With regard to the real estate development works, MCC Group enjoys outstanding design and construction advantages. Dalian Haichang Group is an international enterprise engaging in four pillar industries such as petroleum trading, vessel transportation, real estate investment and commercial tourism.

Haichang has made outstanding achievements in the commercial tourism and properties development, enjoying unique advantages in terms of product development and operation. On this ground, Guo believed that the cooperation between both parties would complement each other's advantages and achieve common prosperity in real estate development and the relevant fields.

Qu Naijie expected both parties to take this signing ceremony as an opportunity and endeavor to build up a new platform and mechanism for cooperation and development, as well as to expand the cooperative areas, steadily deepen the cooperative content and eventually realize the ideal cooperation results.

SBC-MCC Group is one of the subsidiaries of MCC Group, which is granted with the general contracting qualification for housing construction works. The company is mainly engaged in EPC contracting, manufacturing of steel structure and equipment, cooperation maintenance, real estate development and international works contracting. SBC-MCC Group has obtained quite a few professional qualifications, for instance: (i) the first grade EPC qualification for architectural engineering design, municipal engineering and mechanical and electrical installation works; and (ii) the first grade qualification for foundation works, earth works, steel structure, airfield road, NDT (nondestructive testing), kiln furnace, anti-corrosion and heat-preservation works.
As a scientific research enterprise transformed from the national scientific research institution under administration by the previous Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, BRIME was firstly established in 1978 and mainly engaged in the research, development and design application of the metallurgical equipment and technologies. In 1999, BRIME was integrated as a subsidiary of MCC. The business scope covers research and development of the metallurgical equipment and technologies, engineering design, EPC contracting, trading of complete equipment, machinery manufacturing, engineering consultation, construction supervision and technical services.
