OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2013. Ukraine is capable to produce at its plants competitive ambulance cars and reanimobiles. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov announced on Friday at a meeting dedicated to providing regions with ambulance cars.

“I am not an idealist and realize perfectly that the branch which has not been practically financed cannot start functioning at once. A serious program is needed. But I also understand that in the process of realization of this program we will be capable to produce ambulance cars and reanimobiles absolutely easy. The more so that we have such demands that give us way to load our enterprises for the years to come,” the Head of Government has said.

Prime Minister reminded that the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych had set to the Government a very serious task – during several years to completely re-equip the national ambulance service with new vehicles.

“We have not only to equip our ambulance stations with transport means, the overwhelming majority of which are outdated and have been exploited for 20-30 years. We have to give an opportunity to our citizens to use modern medical services and the Government realizes this task, despite all the difficulties joined with not simple economic situation,” Mykola Azarov stressed.

The Prime Minister demands from Ukrainian producers of ambulance cars to increase their localization.

“We are interested and for us now it is the extreme necessity to spend resources inside the country for our producer. It is the principal task – to purchase minimum equipment and machinery from abroad,” the Premier emphasized.

Mykola Azarov commissioned the Ministry of Health, Finance Ministry, Ministry of Economic Development, which would conduct tenders “to make all the enterprises to receive work, to give them an opportunity to operate for the joint matter and we will see in the future: to those who use these resources for the development we will render support, those who decide just to earn a little will earn once and farewell,” the Head of Government stressed. It should be noted that in the framework of realization of the state centralized program of providing with ambulance cars at the account of state budget funds by the end of the current year it is planned to buy 1085 ambulance vehicles and 255 reanimobiles.
