OREANDA-NEWS. ASTARTA started harvesting campaign of early grain crops. The Group's subsidiaries in Poltava region were the first to start the campaign to be followed by Vinnytsa and Khmelnytsky region.

Currently ASTARTA harvested around 7 thousand hectares of winter wheat (c.25% of planted area). Average yield reaches 5 tons per ha significantly exceeding prior year results in the region. Leading ASTARTA's subsidiaries demonstrate average yield of more than 6.4 tons per ha, driven by effective application of advanced agricultural technologies, optimal use of machinery and specialists training.

Total area of early grain crops to be harvested this year is about 60 thousand hectares.
