OREANDA-NEWS. Armada OAO (MICEX-RTS: ARMD) announces it has won the open tender of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) for the right to perform the works on the automated processing of data for the calculation of the system of indicators of industrial activity, labor costs and capital. The goal of this project is to develop software tools that enhance the quality and efficiency of the calculation of GDP, GRP and other key macroeconomic indicators.

During the several stages of works, planned within the frame of implementation of the contract, Armada's specialists will ensure the development of the necessary software for the data processing. In the course of the work a unified technological process of processing the federal statistical observation data will be implemented at the regional and federal levels. The outcome data will be used for calculation of the system of indicators that characterize the production activity, the labor costs and capital investments of legal entities at the federal level, and the integration of the regional data on production units comprising the legal entities at the level of constituent subjects.

The received data will be used not only for decision-making at all levels of state administration, but also for the construction of analytical models, the formation of strategic plans and development forecasts for the state economy as a whole, and individual industrial and financial companies.
