OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' largest confectionery OAO Kommunarka is set to install a new chocolate facilitate worth EUR4.2 million, a company representative told.

The company's tender commission has chosen a supplier of a confectionery facility to manufacture chocolate candy with lumps of nuts and raisins. Kommunarka's choice is a German manufacturer.

Besides, Kommunarka is currently choosing suppliers of another two facilities: to produce cream-paste candies (worth EUR5 million, deadline for applications - June 28), crushed cocoa (EUR1 million, deadline - July 4).

Kommunarka is busy implementing a USD 45 million production upgrade programme, which spans a period till 2015.

Kommunarka Confectionery was founded in 1931. In May 1994 the enterprise was transformed into a joint-stock company.

The company produces over 300 titles of confectionery products.
