OREANDA-NEWS. July 05, 2013. Industrial production increased by 6 percent in May compared with the same month last year, according to fresh data from Statistics Estonia.

The growth was attributed mostly to the production of electronics and electricity, with the latter increasing by 17 percent thanks to rising exports. Growth was also seen in the production of food, wood and chemical products. Meanwhile, production decreased for furniture, plastics, machinery and equipment.

Since January, manufacturing has showed stable 2-6 percent year-on-year growth each month.
