QP Engages with Professionals Worldwide through LinkedIn
OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2013. In line with its strong presence in social media and in support of the corporation’s ongoing recruitment activities, Qatar Petroleum now has an official company page on LinkedIn, thus enabling it to connect with millions of professionals worldwide.
A joint project of the corporation’s Public Relations and Communications Department and the Human Resources Department, QP’s official company page on LinkedIn has been created with the endorsement of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry.
The QP company page can be accessed at www.linkedin.com/company/qatar-petroleum and it currently has over 44,000 followers. More than 150 new followers are added to the list on a daily basis, reflecting the strong interest in QP among professionals from all over the world.
QP’s official company page on LinkedIn provides a short introduction about the corporation’s operations, and it also features the latest updates on the company’s activities. In addition, it gives information about QP’s major departments and operational areas, including Offshore Operations, Gas Operations, Dukhan Operations, Ras Laffan Industrial City and Mesaieed Industrial City.
