OREANDA-NEWS. From 1 January 2014, Emirates will be further expanding its ever-growing A380 route network and flying daily from Zurich with the world's largest passenger aircraft.

This will significantly increase the number of available seats on one of the two existing daily connections between Zurich and Dubai. Using the Airbus A380 on the afternoon flight will enable the international airline to increase its daily capacity from Zurich to 870 seats a day. Compared with the Boeing 777-200ER aircraft currently used on this route, the number of seats available each week from and to Dubai will increase by 1,100 in both directions.

The A380 is split into two levels, with 427 seats in Economy Class, 76 full flat-bed seats in Business Class and 14 private suites in First Class. Each Emirates A380 has an exclusive on-board lounge with bar for Business Class and First Class passengers, on the upper level. First Class passengers also have the benefit of two large spa showers.
