OREANDA-NEWS. A regular UTair Aviation Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on June 27.

The Meeting approved the UTair Aviation annual report, annual accountability report and the financial results report including a profit and loss statement.

In 2012 UTair Aviation delivered positive financial and operational results and continued its pattern of active development. According to the financial statement approved by the shareholders airline revenue in 2012 reached more than 72,500 mln rubles, representing 33.9% growth over 2011. Net profit reached a volume of 369, 894, 000 rubles, a 41.6% growth over 2011.

Operational results showed significant growth as well. In 2012 UTair Aviation aircraft transported 7,769,881 passengers, a 33.5% increase over the previous year. Passenger turnover reached 15,166,200,000 pkm, growing 36.4% YoY. The reports demonstrated that the airline has a strong competitive position supported by its developing route network with more than 30 new routes launched in 2012 and by the constant improvement of service quality provided to the airline's passengers.

The AGM also approved a dividend payout volume of 0.20 rubles per registered ordinary share, 42.8% higher than dividends distributed in 2011.

UTair's AGM approved Andrey Martirosov as CEO for the eighth time. Mr Martirosov has been the head UTair Airlines since 1999.

During the AGM amendments were made to the articles of the association.

A new Supervisory Committee with seven members was appointed. Executive Director of NPF Surgutneftegas Ruslan Gabdulkhakov was appointed Chairman of the Committee.

AGM approved the members of the Revision Commission of UTair Airlines as well.

Following the results of a tender, the AGM chose Rosexpertiza as auditor for UTair.
