OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2013. The Azov Basin Branch began field trials of a light-optical energy station together with its manufacturer.

The station was installed for the summer navigation 2013 on one of the active navigational gate signs located at the Azovo-Donskoy sea canal.

The station consists of a sun photovoltaic module, accumulator, charge controller and a hermetic container to fit up equipment.

The use of the sun energy should considerably increase the power source life, and ensure stable work of the navigational sign separate circuits.
