SPIEF is the area where world leaders raise the most important issues of the modern world, such as internal political and foreign policy challenges, consequences of the global crisis, its impact on the economic and social spheres and many other aspects of modern economic policy.
Confectionary factory named after N.K. Krupskaya needs no introduction for Petersburg citizens. High quality and unique, special, "Petersburg" taste of its products for a long time gained the trust of the customers. Time-tested traditions of the largest chocolate factory in the North-West of Russia not only are carefully preserved but are also supplemented with the new, very good undertakings. Well, the guests of the city on the Neva river can form their own impression about the company products tasting the traditional chocolate "Osobyi" in the memorable packaging with white polka dots, candy "Belochka" or "Mishka na severe".
Confectionery factory named Krupskaya today is a powerful industrial complex with the most modern equipment. Intangible but very important asset of a company are its brands. There are a whole line "Mishka na severe" products, and "Osobyil" chocolate, and sets of sweets in boxes in the elegant St. Petersburg design.
In addition, the factory not only produces chocolate products, but also takes an active part in the life of the city, rendering assistance to those who really need this: social funds, orphanages, associations of war veterans and disabled people. It was so from the beginning of operations, and this tradition has survived until our days.
That is why all the products which have descended from the conveyor of a factory named after N. K. Krupskaya, and especially manufactured manually, without doubt become the visit card of the city on the Neva.
In 2006 the factory named after Krupskaya was acquired by the Norwegian concern Orkla which is a leading supplier of consumer goods of famous brands on the food market of Norway, in Central, Eastern Europe and Russia, and this has become a new milestone in the history of development of the enterprise.
The philosophy of "Orkla" concern implies multilocal business model: the acquired companies always retain their identity. At the same time there is a range of new innovative products, that have never existed on the market. The design of old paper labels is also a subject to update, because progress is not standing still. However, all production of the enterprise remains traditionally of the high quality and appropriate to the growing demands of the modern consumer.
