OREANDA-NEWS.  July 01, 2013. The duplex stainless steel bending parts developed by TISCO have been successfully certified by CARES, UK. TISCO has become the first qualified producer to produce duplex stainless steel bendiparts in Asia.
   
CARES is an independent, non-profit certification authority in UK and provides clients with the assurance that the construction steel producer has met the relevant regulations about testing and inspection of the products used in the reinforced concrete industry. The certification by CARES indicates that TISCO’s duplex stainless steel bending parts have been qualified to access the European market.

The CARES certification for bending parts not only has strict requirements for specifications and sizes of the bending parts, but also requires that the products must have the traceability and the products’ quality assurance system must meet CARES certification requirements. It is said that the certification for the bending parts was based on the certification for the duplex stainless steel reinforced bars by CARES last year. The product standard for the bending parts is BS 8666:2005. All the indicators of TISCO successfully passed the on-the-spot audit made by the experts from CARES.
