OREANDA-NEWS. July 01, 2013. The Government plans that this year the yield of grain crops will be higher by 10-12 mln tons than in 2012.

Prime Minister Mykola Azarov informed on Thursday during a meeting with chief of the mission of International Monetary Fund to Ukraine Nikolay Gueorguiev.

“We expect a good harvest this year. I consider we will receive the yield of grain crops by approximately 10-12 million tons more than in the previous year,” Mykola Azarov has said.

At the same time he reminded that Ukraine had already concluded a series of long-term contracts on export of grain and it would afford to significantly increase foreign exchange earnings of our state.
