OREANDA-NEWS. July 01, 2013. The 9th Arbitration Appeal Court pronounced legitimacy of the decision of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) regarding “Investment AB Kinnevik” to prolong the period of petition consideration to the date of making a decision under the Federal Law “On the Procedures for Foreign Investment in the Business Entities of Strategic Importance for National Defence and State Security”.

“Investment AB Kinnevik” filed a lawsuit objecting that the company, which shares it intended to acquire, was classified as a business entity of strategic importance for national defence and state security.

The Court, however, dismissed the claim considering it unreasonable.
