Personnel Changes at BASF
OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE has announced the following changes in the company’s leadership team:
Ralph Schweens, currently Managing Director of BASF Mexicana S.A., will become President of the South America regional division based in S?o Paulo, Brazil, effective October 1, 2013. The current head of the region Dr. Alfred Hackenberger is retiring on September 30 following a more than 30 year career at BASF.
Dr. Michael Stumpp, currently Senior Vice President, Global Home & Personal Care Business in the Care Chemicals division, will succeed Schweens as Managing Director of BASF Mexicana S.A., based in Mexico City effective September 1.
