OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2013. At the sitting of the ANRE Administrative Board, the ANRE Director announced that the Agency is considering Gas Natural Fenosa’ request for raising electricity rates. “Calculation of expenses, losses and investments is going to be completed by this autumn.

In line with the new methodology we are going to take into account actual expenses the supplier bears", Victor Parlicov said. As it was said earlier, Gas Natural Fenosa requested ANRE to raise tariffs for electricity by 14% for consumers connected to low-voltage lines of 0.4 kW and by 1.4% for consumers hooked up to high-voltage lines starting from April, 1.

The company requested to reduce the price by 4.7% for consumers connected to mid-voltage lines. At present, consumers connected to low-voltage lines served by Gas Natural Fenosa are paying MDL 1,58 per kWh.

At the same time, clients of RED Nord and RED Nord-Vest hooked to lines of the same voltage are paying MDL 1,71 and MDL 1,73 per kWh respectively.
