OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2013. Sberbank and the Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra signed a cooperation agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The Agreement was signed by Herman Gref, CEO, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, and Natalya Komarova, Governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.

The Agreement will promote mutually beneficial cooperation to encourage the development of the social and economic potential of the area.

“Under the Agreement, Sberbank will consult regional authorities on how to attract investments to the region. It will provide financial and non-financial support to local social and infrastructure projects assist in the delivery of public and municipal services through participation in development of multi-purpose centres for individuals and businesses”, German Gref said.

“Moreover, Sberbank will participate in local targeted programmes, including those aimed at developing SMEs, residential mortgage lending, as well as private pension and insurance services”.
