Tomsk Avia Airlines Opens New Route: from Novosibirsk to Kyzyl
OREANDA-NEWS. Tomsk Avia Airlines, the partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport,launched direct regular flight to Kyzyl. Flights to the capital of Tyva Republic are operated on An-24 aircraft three times per week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Departure time from Novosibirsk is 10:45 a.m., from Kyzyl - 02:45 p.m. (local time for each airport is implied). Travel time makes up 2 hours 20 minutes.
Currently, Novosibirsk has direct interregional links with Tomsk, Strezhevoy, Gorno-Altaysk, Tyumen, Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk and other cities. The possibilities to resume flights to Abakan as well as to provide transport links with the nearest towns of the region such as Barnaul, Novokuznetsk and Kemerovo are being considered. Starting from 1st June the traditional summer route to Salekhard was opened. Launching of these flights became possible due to Regulation No.265 dated March 27, 2013 on subsidizing of regional flights adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation.
