OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2013. Qatar Petroleum’s Central Library recently conducted a free book distribution program for the benefit of QP employees and their families.

Over 6,000 old books, CDs and DVDs were handed over by the QP Central Library team to more than 250 persons of all ages who visited the library during the program, which was held.

The goal of the free book distribution program was to promote a love for books, reading and literacy through multilingual and multicultural activities.

The program was in line with the role of QP’s Central Library to support the information needs of its users so that they could contribute in achieving the mission and goals of the corporation.
