OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2013. Ukrhydroenergo has hosted a meeting with representatives of USA regulating bodies. The events gathered Director General of Ukrhydroenergo Ihor Syrota, representatives of USA regulating bodies – Commissions of energy regulation of Ohio, Kentucky and the District of Columbia, representatives of National Energy Regulation Agency of Moldova (ANRE). During the meeting were also present specialists of the National Commission for energy regulation of Ukraine.

At the meeting Ihor Syrota familiarized the guests with the work of Ukrhydroenergo company, their social policy and production activity, perspective objects of construction. The parties exchanged with information concerning development and practical examples in the area of regulating of hydropower industry in their countries. American guests received from Ukrhydroenergo leaders answers to the questions.

In the end of the event the delegation attended with an excursion Kyiv HPS and Kyiv HNPS, powerhouse halls of the stations and saw a stage of assembling of the turbine and rotor of the last hydro unit of Kyiv hydroelectric power station, where the Project of reconstruction is coming to end.
