OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2013. On the VII International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange taking place in within the framework of specialized industrial fair for enterprises in the sphere of information and telecommunication systems, the products of three production companies created with participation of "Uzbektelecom" JSC were represented.

"Uzbektelecom" Joint Stock Company is represented by three production companies: “Telecom Innovation” JV, “Olive Telecom” JV and "Telmax Electronics" LLC PC.

“Telecom Innovation” Joint Venture

“Telecom Innovation” JV is located in "Navoi" FIEZ and produces ADSL-modems and DLSLAM equipment for subscribers and ATS of "Uzbektelecom" JSC.

To meet the needs of the population in digital tuners at transition to digital television, Servetechno PTE Ltd (Singapore) broadcasting company, "Uzbektelecom" and Telmax Elektroniks (Uzbekistan) in 2010 decided to create a joint venture specializing in assembling digital receivers in "Navoi" FIEZ.

In February 23, 2010 with participation of three companies a joint venture was registered in the form of lim ited liability company named “Telecom Innovations”.

To implement the project in Karmana district of Navoi region on the territory of "Navoi" FIEZ a plot of land was allocated for construction of the plant. The total area of the enterprise is 0.8 hectares, the production area is 0.28 hectares.

The cost of the project amounted to 6.8 billion sums. The sources of funding by Uzbek founders became the funds of "Uzbektelecom" and Telmax Elektroniks, as well as the credit of ICT Development Fund.

Production capacity of the new plant is more than 50,000 digital receivers a year. Since the production is organized in "Navoi" FIEZ, the cost of final product due to the preferences provided to enterprises locating here, is lower than foreign counterparts.

Today the company, following its name, tries to present each user the most recent achievements in the field of electronic telecommunication equipment and the proof of this is the nomenclature of our products. Digital TV receivers (Set-Top-Box) of three types, ranging from the simplest model and including Hi-End Class model - TI-FT-6144-IR-SD, capable to receive both open and closed channels of digital broadcasting in Irdeto 2 encoding, external ADSL modems with support for ADSL2 +, Multiplexers - DSLAM. Products of Telecom Innovation JV are widely used in telecommunication networks and by subscribers of "Uzbektelecom" JSC and Set-Top-Box receivers are actively offered to subscribers of UZDIGITAL TV.

At the fair, in particular, the company presents a subscriber receiver (Set-Top-Box) TI-FT-6144-IR-SD for digital terrestrial television of DVB-T standard which costs 197700 sums.
