OREANDA-NEWS. On June 20th-22nd, St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2013 at LenExpo Exhibition Complex was hosted. Azerbaijani delegation attended the Forum organized annually in St. Petersburg since 1997.

 The delegation was comprised of SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, CEO of Azerbaijan International Bank Jahangir Hajiyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloghlu, officials from Ministry of Economic Development and other state organizations. The Forum was also attended by the representatives of more than 70 foreign countries and 500 officials from Russia. The opening of the Forum heard address of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the attendees. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev participated in the round table. The event also heard the oil and gas projects implemented in Russia and Caspian basin. Within the Forum, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev met with Prime Minister of Hungary Victor Orban.
