OREANDA-NEWS. Delhi Metro’s Managing Director, Mr. Mangu Singh, today inaugurated a dedicated Universal Resource Locator (URL) of DMRC’s Training Institute at Shastri Park. This new URL can be accessed by all by typing www.delhimetrorail.com/training-institute on any web browser. This new dedicated link of the Training Institute provides detailed information regarding the Institute and the training programmes being offered. Besides this, it also gives an insight into the faculty of the institute and other facilities being provided like classrooms, canteen, hostel, gym, library, computer lab, simulators, Computer Based Training (CBT), etc.

 Through this, other organizations can also have a glimpse of DMRC’s state-of-the-art training institute and can collaborate with DMRC in training their professionals in various aspects like knowledge based training, skill based training or attitude based training for their candidates.

 Shastri Park Training Institute is equipped with all modern facilities with most advanced simulators to impart customized training on almost all aspects of operations and maintenance of rail based urban transportation system. The Institute has also been given ISO 9001:2008 certification for design, development and delivery of training programmes.

 Established on 19th July 2002, the Institute located at Shastri Park, has a sprawling campus of 10, 000 sq meters and is equipped with state-of-art-training infrastructure and is the only institute in South-Asia to impart training on Metro technology.

 This school of training has developed immense staff capabilities and competence building of not only DMRC employees but also employees from other Metro systems such as Bengaluru Metro, Chennai Metro, Jaipur Metro, Mumbai Metro, Rapid Metro and Kochi Metro.

 The Training Institute also provides consultancy services in the field of Human Resources Management, Operations and Training Simulators, CBT, Designing Training Modules, Conduct of Training etc.
