Kamyshansky Pit Operated by SUEK-Kuzbass Extends Its Excavator Fleet
OREANDA-NEWS. ЭКГ-10 excavator was brought into operation at Kamyshansky open-pit mine operated by SUEK-Kuzbass open-pit mine administration (under Director Sergei Kanzychakov).
ЭКГ-10 No.125 equipped with a 10 m3 bucket arrived at the operations site from Borodino pit (SUEK-Krasnoyarsk) under an investment project. The amount of 35 mln rubles was put into implementing the project.
At the industrial ground of Kamyshansky pit the newly arrived ЭКГ-10 was overhauled and modernized, which substantially enhanced its reliability. All excavator demounting, overhauling and installation operations were carried out using the resources and staff of Borodino Repair And Engineering Works (RMZ).
The productivity of the excavator newly put into service is 200,000 m3 of overburden per month. The new machine is operated and maintained by a crew consisting of 8 people.
"Putting ЭКГ-10 into operation will help to substantially increase the amount of overburden removal, which should boost the operations productivity," observes Vladimir Grabovetsky, Directors Assistant for Production at Kamyshansky pit. "The yearly coal winning volume will reach 2 mln tonnes. Moreover, by bringing overhauled equipment into operation we substantially cut the expenditure on purchasing new machinery, and also create new jobs."
Shortly, the colliery is going to operate two more ЭКГ-10 excavators brought from Borodino pit.
