OREANDA-NEWS.  June 21, 2013. The working visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov to the French Republic has proved that Ukraine is returning to the world market with competitive projects. The Head of Government emphasized during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

“At the 50-th International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition Le Bourget- 2013 Ukraine proved that after complicated years for the national aviation and space industry it is returning to the world market with competitive projects,” the Prime Minister stressed. He reminded that in the work of the largest world exhibition in aviation and space industry there had been participating over 3 thousand companies from 44 countries. Overall, about 300 official delegations from 88 states came to Le Bourget to hold negotiations and get familiarized with advanced solutions of those not many world countries that produce planes and spacecrafts.

Ukraine was honorably represented by technical solutions of the Antonov state enterprise, the Ivchenko-Progress, the Motor Sich joint stock company and Ukroboronprom state enterprise.

In the fact that Ukraine preserves and develops the status of a huge aviation state all the present got convinced just at the opening of the Air Show after demonstration flights of AN-158 and AN-70 Ukrainian planes. Ukrainian aircrafts were represented at the International Air Show just after hosts of the show – French producers. 

“It is hard to describe the feeling of huge pride for the country which appeared when after the demonstration flight of the European transport plane A-400 the sky was winged with elegance and simultaneously with power by our large transport aircraft AN-70. While A-400 represents the result of scientific and technological progress of the whole united Europe. And the national AN-70 by tactical characteristics and specifications and air performance is better! And this could not but was admitted by Airbus representatives during a meeting with me,” Mykola Azarov underlined. However, competition on this market is enormous, our aircraft gives to Ukraine a chance to take its place on the market and reinforce the positions in the world aircraft building, he believes.
