OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2013. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has suggested to French companies that have formed “portfolios” of investment projects for Ukraine to make their presentation just at the Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine, with participation of the heads of regional state administrations. The Head of Government promises overall support and accompanying of projects which will interest both sides. He declared during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

On drawing conclusions of his visit to France, in particular, of a meeting with representatives of large French business, Mykola Azarov underlined: France is interested in cooperation with Ukraine.

In whole our French partners evaluate positively the economic policy of our Government and are interested it could prolong stably, as for the huge capital invested into long-term projects predictability of the policy and stable “rules of the game” are principal indispensable conditions of work.

Mykola Azarov noted that during the negotiations French partners had drawn attention to such attractive instrument of cooperation as partnership between the state and private structures. “The state guarantees and participation of the state in long-term projects are significant for the investors. We have the law on the partnership between the state and private structures. And we have not any examples of its successful realization, unfortunately,” the Prime Minister admitted.  
According to him, there exist successful projects which can be realized: “I have ascertained it during a serious and sincere conversation with representatives of leading French companies which are united in MEDEF International – the largest association of entrepreneurs in France (around 800 thousand companies).”

In order to confirm serious intentions and guarantee support of Ukrainian authorities the Government is ready to consider presentation of such projects, Mykola Azarov has urged.

He also assured representatives of business in consistency of the policy carried out by Ukrainian Government and reducing of administrative and tax pressure. “I openly declared, eyes to eyes, that the plans of our Government do not include increase of taxes and administrative pressure. On the contrary, we will continue deregulation and stimulating of investment activity,” the Premier stressed. “Concerning administrative interference which worry those who are ready to build business in Ukraine for long years, I assured that the course towards enlargement of economic freedom is invariable. We will intensify work directed to support of business initiative, guarantee noninterference in making business and protection of property rights.”
