OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2013. A delegation from The Bank of New York Mellon, NY, USA, headed by Mr. Sergei Kotov, MD, Regional Executive Eastern Europe, GCM presented Sberbank of Russia with the Award for Excellence 2012 in Recognition for Outstanding STP Rate.

Sberbank of Russia has been awarded for excellent quality of formatting payments routed via its Nostro correspondent account in USD with The Bank of New York Mellon during 2012.

With the STP rate of nearly 99 p.c. and a substantial volume of commercial payments, Sberbank hits the Bank of New York Mellon’s Top 5 clients globally.

At the ceremony Mr. Kotov emphasized a tendency of Sberbank’s annual increase in quality of payment formatting, which illustrates a high degree of automation in payments processing at Sberbank and of the absolute compliance of its inhouse reconciliation system to the international requirements and standards.

In the preceding years The Bank of New York Mellon also repeatedly distinguished Sberbank for high quality of payment formatting.
