OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2013. Ecologists and Environmental Services of Russian companies, which had made a significant contribution to protecting the environment and improving the environmental safety, were awarded prizes. Among the winners there are specialists of TATNEFT Company.

Badge of "V.I. Vernadsky Order" was awarded to Vladimir Fadeev, Head of Production Department - Deputy Chief Engineer of JSC TATNEFT.

Commemorative medals for the 150th anniversary of V.I. Vernadsky birth were awarded to Ravil Gareyev, Head of the Technological Office for Corrosion Control and Nature Protection; Radik Muhametgaleyev, Chief Technologist, Head of Oil and Gas Treatment Office; Ravil Ibatullin, Director of TatNIPIneft; Zilya Valisheva, Office Head for Environmental Protection of "TANECO". Renat Nugaybekov, Director of OOO "TMS - Group" Management Company, representative of the oil servicing companies in Tatarstan was also among the awards recipients.
JSC TATNEFT was awarded the Certificate of Merit for contribution to the sustainable development of the country and high social and environmental responsibility in protecting the environment.

The ceremony took place in the framework of ceremonial events timed to the Ecologist Day celebration in 2013, the Year of the environment in Russia and the 150th birth anniversary of V.I. Vernadsky, the founder of a number of sciences and trends and the fundamentals of modern ecology.

The event was organized by the Non-Governmental Environmental Fund named after V.I. Vernadsky, Inter-Regional Public Environmental Organizations MEOO "GREENLIFE" and MEOO "GREENLIGHT" and supported by JSC "Gazprom", "Rosatom" State Corporation, the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the State Duma Committee on Natural Resources, Environment Management and Ecology, Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Management and the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Orders and V.I. Vernadsky commemorative badges were awarded to outstanding scientists, statesmen and public figures, businessmen, representatives of educational and social institutions and organizations, foreign citizens for their outstanding achievements and scientific advances in the field of dissemination and promotion of the famous Russian academician's scientific heritage and for practical implementation of his ideas, for achievements in the field of ecology, environmental management and environmental protection.
