OREANDA-NEWS. ‘Expert RA’ rating agency upgraded ‘SOYUZ’ Insurance Company rating to A, which means high reliability; the rating outlook is stable, which means high probability of maintaining the rating in the mid-term. The Company used to have rating В++, which means acceptable reliability; the rating outlook was stable.

Reduction in the share of bank promissory notes in the Company’s investment portfolio and growth in the share of deposits, reduction in the share of operating costs in net premiums had a positive impact on the rating upgrading.

A significant increase in insurance premiums and the insurance portfolio structure instability, the high combined net loss ratio and the high SMPTLI loss ratio as well as low RoE restrain the rating.
