OREANDA-NEWS. Uralmashplant JSC completed delivery of four secondary crushers KSD-3000T-D to "Karelsky okatysh" JSC (Kostomuksha). The machines bought in compliance with the enterprise re-equipment program will replace the existing facilities at its crushing and concentration plant.

Uralmashplant designers developed these new cone crushers for "Karelsky okatysh" JSC based on their previous broad experience in design and production of similar machines. They ruggedized the discharge-opening control system, and improved the hydraulic system. The new lubricating plants installed on the crushers feature air cooling of oil. The equipment of crushers includes up-to-date systems for automatic control and diagnostics.

"Karelsky okatysh" JSC already completed the erection of the first crusher at its crushing and concentration plant under the supervision of the specialists from "Uralmashplant" Mining Equipment Division and regional service center (Zheleznogorsk, Kursk region).

"Karelsky okatysh" JSC forms part of the mining (raw stock) division in the mining and steel-making company "Severstal" JSC since 1999. "Karelsky okatysh" takes the third place in iron-ore pellets output in Russia, it yields the fifth part of all pellets produced in the country.
